Incorporated as Fuelsoft Ltd in early 2007, the team and company (previously known as Compuserve) has being delivering exceptional software development, technical support and customer service to the fuel industry for over 30 years.

Fuelsoft software forms the backbone of many industry leading operators such as Ford Fuels, WP Group and Ribble Fuels. Fuelsoft supply and support software which offers a fully integrated Windows application incorporating CRM (Customer Relationship Management), sales order processing for fuel, lubricants and gas, credit control, stock control and integrated financial accounting packages.

The company’s experienced team will project-manage the process from the initial tender through to the training, data file conversion and implementation of new systems. Fuelsoft also cater for bespoke development enabling them to incorporate any new functionality into the existing applications.

Fuelsoft currently look after the software requirements of 65 Fuel Distributors varying in size from some of the largest distributors in the industry, with over 50+ vehicles, to smaller 2 and 3 truck operators. The current Fuelsoft applications being supplied are based solely on Microsoft platforms using Microsoft development tools to allow very high levels of integration to all of the Microsoft family of desk top products including Outlook and Office.

Fuelsoft are a very customer focused organisation, prioritising the business around providing high levels of customer service all the way through from pre-implementation planning to day-to-day support.

In Cab Computers

Fuelsoft integrates with the Touchstar Fuelstar software and mobile computing hardware. The Fuelsoft interface has been designed to build orders into loads for direct real-time transmission to the Touchstar TS3300 computers.

One of the significant benefits of introducing such a system is that it will transmit back confirmed quantities after each delivery and prints invoices for customers at the point of delivery. This improves cash flow and provides a high degree of visibility to the office staff showing which orders have been completed and who is due the next delivery.

There are a number of companies using the Fuelsoft-Touchstar on-board computer systems, including Ribble Fuels and WP Group who currently have vehicles fitted with Touchstar in-cab computers interfacing with the Fuelsoft back office software.
